My Thoughts:

Being a history buff- especially about the Civil War I was excited to read this book. It was a little slow starting off but quickly I found myself on the edge of my seat at times. I liked learning about the man behind the solider and how his faith shaped him. It reminded me of The Killer Angels. I recommend it. So, it's getting:
