Send off for a Snitch ( A Jesse Damon Crime Novel) By: K.M. Rockwood Genre: Mystery 243 pages Publisher: Musa Publishing  I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review. Jesse recently been released from prison after serving 20 years. He's just trying to get by and stay out of prison. But his life gets complicated when a co-worker's young brother shows up on his doorstep one morning. Things get even more complicated when the co-worker's body is then found on his doorstep. Whoops. Will Jesse find the real culprit and stay out of jail? I liked the fact that Jesse is a blue collar worker trying to turn his life around. He's an interesting, well developed character. All the characters were well developed. I found the story ti be a little slow moving, though. I like the killing to be done early in a novel. However, once I got to the mystery I found the story enjoyable.  Buy it here: Amazon B&N More links: Author Facebook Page Goodread

When her love interest Luke Harper decides to help her life gets even more complicated- considering their families hate each other. Will Cherry solve the mystery and get the man?   A fun engaging mystery. It had enough twists and turns that kept it exciting. The ambiguous ending between Cherry and her love interest left me wanting to read more of this series. It was the first book I've ever read in the Cherry Tucker series and I enjoyed it very much. Murder at Rudhall Manor A Lucy Anne Trotter Mystery By: Anya Wylde Genre: Mystery 224 pages Publication Date: June 16, 2014 Publisher: Anya Wylde I received a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review. When Lucy Anne Trotter arrives at Rudhall Manor to work as a governess she gets more than she bargained for. The Sedley men harass her and the women can barely stand her. When a theft and murder occur Lucy is named as the prime suspect. It's then up to her and the dashing Lord Adair to find the real culprit. Will she find the real murderer or will she end up losing her life as well? A madcap mystery with a zany heroine and a roguish hero. Lucy and Lord Adair have plenty of chemistry, the mystery was interesting, and the book had the perfect setting. The cover also captures the story well. At time I had trouble following the plot but I think that was just me.The name's of the characters were also a good fit for their personalities.  I hope there's
