The Path of the Crooked follows Cooper as she's trying to get over the break-up with her boyfriend of five years. She's looking for a change and when Brooke Hughes invites her to Hope Street Church, Cooper decides to take her up on her offer. However, when Brooke is killed and her husband is accused Cooper and her new friends set out to find the real murderer.

Filled with a little romance, an interesting plot and characters. This is an engaging mystery series.
